SHIPPING POLICY
At AwesomeBatteries.com, we are committed to getting your high-performance power solutions to you as quickly and safely as possible. Because we partner directly with leading lithium manufacturers, your order often ships directly from the source to ensure you receive the most recent production batches.

1. Processing & Shipping Times
  • Standard Products: Nearly all of our in-stock products are processed and shipped from the manufacturer or our regional distribution centers within 48 hours or less(excluding weekends and holidays).
  • Unique or Custom Products: Due to the specialized nature of some high-capacity battery systems, certain unique products may have longer lead times. These are often subject to fluctuating production schedules from the manufacturer. If an item has an extended lead time, it will typically be noted on the specific product page.

2. Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Compliance
Lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries are classified as Class 9 Hazardous Materials. To ensure safety and legal compliance:
  • Ground Shipping Only: Most large standalone batteries must ship via Ground Transportation within the contiguous 48 states.
  • Specialized Packaging: Your order will arrive in high-quality, rigid packaging featuring mandatory UN Identification numbers (e.g., UN3480 or UN3481) and lithium battery handling marks.
  • Carrier Restrictions: We primarily utilize certified HazMat carriers such as FedEx Ground and UPS to ensure your product is handled by trained professionals.

3. Shipping Rates & Destinations
  • Domestic Shipping: We currently ship to the continental United States.
  • Exclusions: Due to federal safety regulations regarding the transport of lithium batteries by air, we generally cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations.
  • Freight Shipments: Large battery banks or orders exceeding 150 lbs may ship via LTL Freight on a pallet to ensure maximum stability and safety during transit.

4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched from the manufacturer or distribution center, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email containing your tracking number. Please note that tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active in the carrier's system.
